At Gold Leaf, we believe in giving back and supporting programs and initiatives that help the community and various animal rescue organizations. We donate both our time and our design efforts pro bono to help support the important work these organizations do. Below are some of the organizations we have helped, and the list is continuously growing!
YMCA Youth Mean Business Program
Agata has enjoyed working with the YMCA Youth Mean Business Program because it has given her a chance to help others start their business and become successful. Mentoring has always been a huge passion of Agata’s, and she was overjoyed to connect with the YMCA to become a part of this important program, working with their students to help them through their business questions.
We were so excited to bring Agata on board as a Youth Mean Business mentor. She has a diverse business background with specialized skills applicable to all our young entrepreneurs that will help them launch. What is rare and dynamic about her is the interplay of her strong business knowledge with an incredible passion for people and their success. She has a great energy and enthusiasm about her work, giving back, and the process it takes to collaboratively get to the desired result. Agata has strength in her ability to hone in on what people need most personally and professionally for their business and life to be successful. She is great to work with!

BCIT Acorn Initiative Award
Agata started the Acorn Initiative Bursary at BCIT in 2013, as part of Gold Leaf’s commitment to furthering education. She decided to pursue the opportunity to support other students starting the Design Essentials graphic design program that she graduated from in 2008. Learning is exceptionally important to Agata, and she doesn’t feel financial difficulty should hinder anyone from pursuing knowledge, or their dreams. This is her way of giving back and sharing the wealth with the BCIT community. Agata is very proud to be a BCIT Alumni and enjoys continual learning as part of her growth.
TnT Sharpei Rescue
Agata has worked as a volunteer and on the Board of Directors for this rescue since 2010. She has donated her graphic design, marketing, and business skills on a regular basis to help the rescue pursue increased fundraising efforts as well as to educate the public about the Chinese Sharpei canine breed.
You Are the Gift! Event
Agata has donated her graphic design services to the Little Ones Big Hearts Foundation annually and was proud to make their first You Are the Gift! Event Poster in December 2013. The free event was a show with various performers helping to remind kids of the true meaning of Christmas. Agata has supported the cause annually.
“WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! That is just a small way of saying that I am blown away by Agata’s amazing ability to open her heart and her time to put together such a perfect poster for our charity show. She truly did a superb job and was patient with the changes that I requested and did them with speed and accuracy. In record time we had a first class poster ready to advertise the event. I have worked with other designers in the past, but their speed and attention to detail along with awesome creativity was no where as great as what Agata was able to do. I cannot recommend her enough!!! If you want some amazing work done from a top pro make sure to connect with Agata. I highly recommend her to do a superb job for what it is that you need done. Thank you Agata from the bottom of my heart! I appreciate you so very much! Keep up the amazing work! With deep gratitude.”
