Book Review – Law of Attraction TurboCharge
The Law of Attraction Turbocharge Ebook by Paul Piotrowski is one of the best books on the Law of Attraction I have ever read! Ever since the book The Secret came out in 2006, the widespread phenomenon of the Law of Attraction has become mainstream. However, even with all of the information presented amongst various books and videos, some people still have the misconception that the Law of Attraction works if you simply think really hard about something you want and POOF! it magically appears.
Not realizing that they may not necessarily be manifesting their true desires (or even knowing how to really tap into their true desires), some people have given up and developed a bad taste in their mouth about all of this ‘law of attraction’ stuff, casting it aside. Others however still remain optimistic but can’t seem to manifest what they want and are stuck, not knowing how to visualize their intentions or how to channel their energy in a way to achieve their goals. Again, even though there is a lot of information out there on the Law of Attraction, little is presented on exactly how to get tangible results – until now.
Paul goes into the Law of Attraction from the very beginning, explaining it step by step and taking you through each page of his Ebook with such ease that you literally cannot put it down. He takes you through his 9 Strategies to help explain and demystify the Law of Attraction so that you can understand it and get results!
His real-life examples of how the Law of Attraction has worked for him give you a glimpse into what is possible, in a realistic yet optimistic manner. He delivers the information in a way that allows for easy digestion of the content while also really hitting home some key points, so you retain the information and are fully loaded with an arsenal of techniques, tips, and great advice to get your own life aligned to your highest purpose.
My favorite parts of the Law of Attraction Turbocharge include the chapter on Hacking Reality and Destiny and Free Will, as well as Non Linear Thinking. I highly recommend this book because it will seriously change your life. What’s even better is that even if you are a skeptic, Paul is so sure that you will love his Ebook, he is offering a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee with a full 60-days to review the content and implement the 9 Strategies and see how it can shape your life.
Also, for a limited time only the Law of Attraction Turbocharge is on for an introductory special for only $27. Check it out and let me know what you think – enjoy!
Meggs’ History of Graphic Design (4th Ed.) – Book Review
Meggs’ History of Graphic Design is the first book in my Essentials for Graphic Designers series – which is a collection of books that have helped me in my studies as a graphic designer, and are excellent resources for anyone wanting to learn about the various facets of graphic design.
When I started the Design Essentials program between BCIT and Emily Carr, this book was one of the first things the students were required to read. It is not an easy read, as Meggs has piled a lot of information into this book so it is only easily digestible in small doses. Even though it wasn’t easy at first to get into this book, I found that as we progressed through our program, it was easier and easier for us to retain the information in the book.
The beginning of Meggs’ History of Graphic Design talks about the start of graphic design – back to the invention of writing and the beginnings of typography and how it has evolved. Then he takes you into the different eras of graphic design, and how these eras impacted what we see nowadays in the North American culture and around the world. From the Arts and Crafts Movement, to Art Nouveau, and all the way through to Postmodern Design with everything in between – this book covers it all in such depth it’s hard not to be fascinated with how our world has evolved into the Digital Revolution we are in now.
Meggs couples all of the rich content in this book with a lot of great imagery, so you’re really able to experience each era through the pages. You can see the differences between the various styles, artists, and the influences on their work throughout evolution.
I recommend this book to anyone who would like to learn more about graphic design and who is looking for a timeless reference tool for the trade. Enjoy!
The Celestine Prophecy – Book Review
I had the pleasure of reading The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield a number of years ago. I remember one of my brothers mentioning the book to me in passing one day, and though it interested me immensely, I wasn’t quite sure of it. About a year passed by, and I still had not read the book. Hadn’t even gone to purchase it. Something just didn’t feel right – like I wasn’t quite ready. Anyone who has read the book already, will know what I mean by this.
Once again, the book name was mentioned to me in passing, and this time my ears perked up. I decided to pick up a copy and was eager to start reading it. Again, a few months passed and not a single page was flipped and the book just sat on my bookshelf. Finally, one day I noticed that some things in my life weren’t going quite the way I planned, and I really wanted to make a change. I felt… stuck. Suddenly, the book popped back into my mind, and I felt that I should really start reading it. It’s almost like I wasn’t ready for it before, and this time, things were different. I wanted to make a change in my life, but was too comfortable in my current state and so nothing was getting done – no changes were happening.
I read the first chapter and it’s literally like someone had opened a door up in my mind that I didn’t know existed. I didn’t quite understand what I was reading, because it meant more than just the words on the page. Something seemed, familiar almost, but I wasn’t sure what it was. I left the book for a few days, as this comfort zone I was in really made it hard for changes to come about, and when I presented with them, I almost rebelled. Telling myself that reading this book would help me get past these feelings of being stuck, I managed to pick the book up again, and I did not put it down.
The Celestine Prophecy is the book that gives you a glimpse into those questions you may have had about life, but were too afraid to ask. It gives you a really good look at yourself, and dives deep into things that you might not have even heard of before. Things like there’s energy in the Universe and how we’re all connected. Things that make you go ‘hmmm’ for lack of a better phrase. It is a book that really gets you thinking, and sometimes you have to read it twice (I did) to even grasp the essence of it even a little bit. What I can tell you is that ever since I read The Celestine Prophecy for the first time, things changed for me. I’m talking the kind of change that you don’t realize consciously but you just know in your inner being – your soul.
As you read the story, you get immersed in it and realize that you learn things about your own life, as you experience what is happening with the characters. It shows you things that are so deep, that you cannot even understand where those feelings are coming from. It’s like this book was written for each and every person out there, as everyone gets something different from it. Everyone relates to it in different ways, but the one thing that rang true for me, is that once I read the book, I started to meet people who also had read the book. I attracted them into my life. Each time I met someone that had read the book, we shared our experiences with it and how we each grew from reading it.
I don’t think it’s possible for me to quantify the experience you can have with this book if you just open yourself up to it. This is not hype or ego talking. This is YOU reading the book when you are ready for it, and YOU going on your own adventure with it. Some have started reading it and just didn’t understand it. Others have started it and couldn’t put it down. Still others read it so fast they had to read it again and again to remember the lessons from it. It’s a great book to share with your friends, family, and anyone you think can benefit from it, and it’s definitely a good one to keep on the shelf for reviewing again when you feel you need to.
This is the type of book that you will purchase simply to give away to family and friends – it’s just that good. I hope you find what you’re looking for if you decide to pick up The Celestine Prophecy, and I welcome your thoughts on it. Happy Reading!
